Dolphin Spotting
New Quay is famous for its local bottlenose dolphins, keep an eye on the Quay and you will often be able to see when they're about by people standing around the walls watching them and taking photos. The dolphins are often on the left side of the Quay or at the end, they can also be seen from Arvonia, there are some binoculars in the house for this very reason!
Alternatively take one of the regular boat trips for a great chance to see the dolphins and other sea life,

The Dylan Thomas Trail
Dylan Thomas, the welsh poet and author lived in New Quay for a short period during the Second World War. He referred to New Quay as a "cliff perched, toppling town", the trail begins at the old New Quay Tourist Information Office which is now Ginger's Coffee Shop.
The first 9 trail markers are within New Quay with the last 3 being near Llanina Point

Cardigan Bay Watersports
Hire out a paddleboard or kayak (double kayaks are also available) to really explore the bay and enjoy a chance to get up close to the dolphins keeping a respectful distance. Sailing dinghies and windsurf/wingsurf are also available, please see their website for details.
There are changing rooms and storage facilities on site, bookings are taken via their website.
